BarryWhen in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for a people to break off from the Web and form a new website devoted to the restoration and preservation of old GM trucks, they must do so with elan and dispatch. Thus was the Stovebolt Page brought into the passing lane of the information Super Highway in November, 1995. And we've been truckin ever since. Actually, our part is morelike the Information Dirt Road. But, we like dirt roads.

The Kipettes    The folks who make up the Stovebolt Page are the folks who make up the old truck hobby -- young guys working on their first trucks with their dads, uncles granddads (grandmoms, too) or whomever, to fellers crafting their next Carlisle show stoppers. And lots of us inbetween. (This is a picture of Kip's girls.)

We like 'em all -- unrunning rough pasture decorations to torn-apart trucks in progress to heart-stopping trailer queens to ear-splitting quarter-mile road rockets. Bring 'em on and show us what you've got.

If you like old trucks and dirt roads, then you're one of "Us" too. Hang out, look at the trucks, pull up a running board in one of our Forums and join the crew. Tell us what's on your mind or listen to the rest of us squawk -- just don't mind a little cigar smoke...

Please note that we are proud to be Family Friendly and pornography free. So, Hugh, Larry and Bob (kind of like "Moe, Larry and Curly"), y'all find some other place to park.

In the top photo is the site administrator and his family. This is/should be a family hobby, so we recognize and thank our supporting families and ask them to participate, too.

From all of us here in the virtual garage, we hope you enjoy your visit. Hang out, stay late (just don't get in trouble!) and hurry back.
