From Steve :

Hello. I just joined your forum (I found Stovebolt accidentally) and love it. Here are photos of my 1960 Chevy Apache C-10 with the big rear window.

I bought this truck 15 years ago from a business associate. I was at his apartment and we walked out to the parking lot. My eyes immediately went to this truck. I said "Wow! Look at that!" He said it was his and he was selling it for $900 as he needed tires for his truck. So, I snatched it up.

The rear end had been rebuilt, and the engine was a newly rebuilt 1962 327 V-8. Everything else was in disrepair.

Now, 15 years later, it is the best vehicle I have ever owned. It is my pride and joy. I always feel like a king driving her.

The body needs work [ side view ] , but mechanically, it is a great running truck.

What a great resource this site is. Thank you for being there!

So, whadda ya think .....sweet. I love it.
