From Jarred :

           I have a 1948 Chevy 3600 Wrecker.

A few years ago, my Dad and I got a 1954 Dodge with a 331 Hemi. The car was extremely rusty. There were no floors at all. We took the motor out.

We had it sitting for a few months. A guy that had a bunch of old cars and trucks was interested in it. My Dad and I went to his place, in Parish, which is about ten miles from our place. At his place, I found this old 1948 Chevy that I wanted. My Dad was willing to trade.

The truck is actually a 1948 Chevy 3600 with a homemade wrecker. [ Pix of backside with wrecker ] It has a 216 4 speed. The motor is locked up. [ Interior pix ]

I also have an old S-10. I plan on swapping the '48 body onto the S-10 frame with a nice small block. I plan on starting on it next spring because I have to finish the 1951 F-1 and the 1959 F-100 before I start another project.

Here are more pictures on my Webshots. I have more projects than I'll ever finish. Most off the Mavericks you see on the Webshots album are for parts though. I want to build one or two out off 10 of them.
